Terms of Booking
These Terms and Conditions below, when agreed to, bind you and anyone else in attendance, into agreement with them, when using
Laddies Field at New Barn Farm, Henley Down, Catsfield, Battle TN33 9BP
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS WHEN BOOKING
Liability
- No responsibility will be taken by the land owners for damage or injury sustained to property, individuals or animals whilst using Laddies Field or anywhere else on the premises at New Barn Farm.
- Parking must be in the designated parking area. All vehicles are left entirely at their owners’ risk and the landowners accept no responsibility for any loss or damage incurred, accident or otherwise, whilst they are on the premises of New Barn Farm.
- Any breakages or damage caused to Laddies Field or at New Barn Farm must be paid for by the hirer.
We recommend that all dog(s) using Laddies Field are fully up to date with their inoculations. We recommend that your dog(s) are immunised and wormed.
- Please do not bring your dog(s) when they are ill.
- Please do not bring your dog(s) if they are coughing
- Please do not bring your dog(s) if you suspect or know that they may have any contagious disease.
- If any of your dog(s) that you are responsible for are not insured for 3rd party liability, please be aware that you will be personally liable for any accidents or injuries that your dog may cause, just as if you would be if it occurred in a public place.
- Laddies Field is situated on a working farm and as such there could be natural and agricultural hazards. Hazards you may encounter could include, but are not limited to; moving tractors and other agricultural machinery, nails, glass, wood, wire, uneven ground, rabbit and other animal burrows, biting insects and thorns. Prevailing weather conditions could result in additional hazards.
- Smoking or vaping is not permitted anywhere on New Barn Farms property
- The behaviour, safety and welfare of all dogs using Laddies Field is entirely the owner’s/handler’s responsibility, just as it would be in a public place.
- The owners of Laddies Field do not organise and are not liable for any gatherings or events on the premises unless otherwise stated, nor will they be held liable for any incidents, accidents or injuries that may occur on the premises. Hirers using Laddies Field do so entirely at their own risk.
Payment
- All payments must be made with cash when at the premises or via bank transfer prior to your visit. Bank details are provided on request.
Cancellation Policy
- We operate a 24 hour cancellation policy.
- Cancellations within 24 hours will still be charged. We will where possible endeavour to fill the space, and if successful, you will not be charged.
- If the hirer arrives late, the booking cannot be extended.
- If Laddies Field needs to cancel a booking you have made, we will wherever possible give 24 hours’ notice.
Bookings
- The person making the booking must be present and must ensure that anyone else attending with them is made aware of, and adheres to, the Terms and Conditions by signing them electronically via the website. By bringing friends or family, the hirer agrees to take full responsibility for their safety and ensure that they abide by the Terms and Conditions at all times whilst on the premises and while using Laddies Field.
Entering/Leaving
- It is the responsibility of those using Laddies Field to allow enough time to unload their dogs, use the facilities and get them back into their vehicles afterwards within their time slot. If you arrive early, you agree to stay away from the field gate until the person before you has left and to give them and their dog(s) plenty of space to exit.
- Dogs must be kept in vehicles until the previous hirer has loaded their dog(s) back into their vehicles.
- Dogs must be always kept on their leads when transferring from the car to Laddies Field.
- The hirer must inspect Laddies Field to ensure that it is suitable for use by their dog(s).
- There are horses onsite and visitors must enter and exit New Barn Farm respectfully, ensuring that the main road gate is kept closed using the chain on the gate to keep it closed.
- All visitors to the field must vacate it within their allotted time
Code of Ethics
- No Choke chains, prong collars and electronic devices are allowed.
- No Harsh handling of dogs, either verbal or physical is allowed.
- Dog trainers or behaviourists or working with their clients will only be allowed by planning with Laddies Field in advance and must provide evidence of their insurance prior to booking or on arrival.
- Professional dog walkers are welcomed by prior arrangement.
- Anyone hiring the premises for commercial purposes or on a professional basis can do so only with the owner’s permission.
Maintenance and the dreaded Poo!
- The hirer must bring their own poo bags and remove ALL dog’s waste. Laddies Field provides a poo bin however, it is a strict requirement that you must pick up after your dog(s). There are spare poo bags (in case they are forgotten only) and a bin is provided.
- No litter is to be left in Laddies Field or at New Barn Farm as this presents a risk to users and their dogs as well as other wildlife on the farm. Please use the bin provided.
- We inspect Laddies Field and perimeters at least once a day to maintain security but please notify us on 07841 299 568 if you have any concerns.
- We do not take any responsibility for any dog escaping from Laddies Field
- Please make sure that you wear appropriate footwear.
Humans! – Children & Adults
- Children are welcome in Laddies Field but must be always supervised by an adult over the age of 18 years old.
- Any dog ‘fun’ areas – ie , jumps, tyres, ramps etc., are designed and built to be used by dogs only. Please do not allow children or adults to climb or use them.
- Laddie Field will not take any responsibility for any injury to humans or animals caused by using any such equipment that is for the sole use of any visiting dogs.
Data/Privacy Policy
- We only retain your contact details in the event of having to contact you regarding your booking. The information is not used for any other purpose or shared to any other parties.
- Your email address is requested to confirm you have accepted the T&Cs.
- You can request for your data to be erased. This would need to be put in writing
- It is your responsibility to read our terms and conditions prior to every booking
Updates
- We may need to vary these terms and conditions from time to time.
- Therefore, by making a booking, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions on the website at the time of making your booking.
